due to madden, I thought I'd share my story of my latest game in my Online Dynasty
I just played the best game ever vs the computer. I've never had so much fun playing against them
#5 FSU @ #4 UNC
Grudge match the whole game. UNC has a great defense. Their Dline is something serious. They were in Ponder's face all game forcing him to throw 3 ints, one being a pick 6.
FSU's defense not to be out done, forced Tyler Yates to throw 2 ints and also forced a fumbled pitch on an option play that went for a TD but DL Kevin McNeil.
Neither team scored until late in the 2nd quarter with Yates throwing a TD pass to Jones.
FSU comes back to tie the game with a 4 yard TD run by Thomas.
3rd quarter belong to both defenses with the aforementioned fumbled return by Mcneil followed by a pick 6 by Jones of UNC.
After another INT by FSU, UNC manages to go up 17-14 with a FG. 4:19 left on the clock
Ponder, having a rough game, almost got pulled. Had this been a home game I might have, but i knew bringing in a RS freshman on a road would be a sure lost. Ponder had the play of the night. After being sacked for a lost and the down being 3rd and 17, he steps up BIG and hit Easterling for a 23 yarder between 2 defenders. had both players not made this play, the game would surely be over.. to make a long story short, Ponder led us down the field and cap off the drive with a 1 yard TD run with 0:56 left on the clock.
Thinking I got the this wrapped up, I go into conservative mode. bad Idea. Tyler Yates leads his team right back down the field with a couple of passes and QB Runs that surprise the defense. on his last run, to the FSU 5 yard line, FSU's D got a good lick on him and knocked him out the game with 15 secs left.
The backup Paulus, doesn't fair well going 0-2 in pass attempts. FSU D holds!
Win or lose, that game was fun. This type of game, makes me love this game
