Man Align?

I press the button and some of my players don't line up against who they are supposed to cover. this gets extremely annoying in man coverage when my player is in the middle of the field and the reciever hes supposed to guard is all the way at the side. Is there a way to align them? Again I do press the align button but nothing happens.

Try pressing it more than once? If not just manually move your guy over there, although that might give away the defense

I hate moving it manually it gets annoying after awhile, do you guys get this problem time from time? Do you think setting defense assignment for every reciever might help?

exactly what I do,and it works. You just reminded me about that.

i guess ill give that a try I normally just set the top two recievers. thanks for the help

Its been like that for a while, Cant remember if it was in 08 but its def in 09 too. It pisses me off, pressing more than once does nothing. Manually changing it sucks, i dont wanna play as a corner.

If you flip the play, sometimes, they align.

thats not the point though. They have the option to man align, but its doesnt work because players dont man align like they should. This was in the game for years and worked fine. you could also use it on zone plays to make the opponent think you were running man....problem is it doesnt work.

If anyone knows Ian's twitter or other way of contacting him tell them to patch this bitch. with the flats working everytime this is a huge problem time from time. I shouldnt have to manually tell the saftey (if im blitzing) to line up with the Rb. It takes away from other pre snap adjustment I am making

I thought man align was used to keep everybody in their original spot? Try not pressing anything and see if they move over. I usually use man align against twins when I'm in a zone cause I don't want my linebacker widening out.

Yeah its even worse when you use the defensive assignments. I get guys on the opposite side of the field sometimes. Then me rushing to get to that player and move him before the CPU snaps the ball.
