Im thinking of getting the PS3 Slim

not enough to cover the whole cost but i think it would be pretty close. for the Wii itself you'll get about 90 (gamestop) and with everything else it should be around $200. i know galaxy,mario kart, and brawl still have decent trade in values. thats just from trading in at gamestop, you would surely get more on ebay, craigslist, etc.

I am a PS3 fanboy so its hard for me to say this, but unless you can't wait you might want to hold off on the slim in case problems arise out of the first run. You never know if slimming down will cause overheating and the YLOD (yellow light of death).

I could be wrong but thought I'd throw that out there.

This isn't the 360 slim we're talking about... it's gonna be just fine.

Except for the fact that the transition from PS2 to PS2 Slim had many, many problems including overheating due to reduced fan size...

I called gamestop today.. 70 fucking dollars for a 360.. That store is garbage.

I'd wait a month or two and I bet you some store will run a deal to try and get you to buy the slim from there store by offering a free game, or $50 off or a $50 giftcard.
