I just saw Rac over at Pasta's site, most likely tallying up the few [including Pasta] who were thrilled at the speed change to slow. I guess some folks just can't find a "hole," except somewhere to stick their heads.

VSN is unanimously against slow ...... the EA forums are 55%/45% against slow . OS is about split right now so what community wanted this
I heard that PP complained about normal cause of pick 6's and like I said earlier , don't throw the ball at defenders and you won't have to worry about him taking it home . If I make a dumb throw to a linebacker on a bad read and he takes it back , I am not cursing madden for making it easy to take back , I am cursing myself for throwing to the god damn linebacker
I don't even think offline gamers should be getting a say on this , they can change it anytime they want , we can't .

I PM'd Rac at Pasta's site but I doubt that there's little or no explanation that he can or would give that would be logical of why they did this.
