You know when you have a 147.1 QB rating with Chad Henne, it's time to quit. Although, the adaptive AI was starting to show promise, by dropping my rating to 120.9. The passing game, especially play action passes are so damned easy, it's almost laughable. I even use the ''ask madden'' feature, to prevent me from choosing certain plays, but now his dumb ass chooses play action passes every other play. Passing to the TE is also too effective.

I was going to rent it for another week, but I'll wait until a patch comes out. This shit is going back, and I'm going back to World of Warcraft - A real game, for real closet homosexuals, like myself.

but it's true, a lot of the times you fuck with a slider and there is no difference. I have the CPU's pass block at 5, 50 is the default in an effort for me to give the CPU QB realistic pressure and me some realstic sack numbers.

I actually found a slider set at OS just now, that had me give up 120+ yards to Michael Turner, and a loss. I was shocked, but again, due to shitty AI, I only control my QB and DT, no switching at all, no matter what. Best/most realistic game during the entire week I've had this shit.

I shouldn't speak so soon, because reality will probably strike in the next game.

You see my problems with sliders is this .....

You ever have them low and whoop the cpu all day long or you juice them up so high that runningbacks are breaking 5 tackles and leaping over safetys in order to get realistic stats (a bit of an exaggeration)

In my chise I have been forced to put up with a juiced up AI so I can at least play some competitive games against the CPU with decent stats

I am mainly an online player but for once I would like to see the offline franchise get a look , or hell , have it the way it was on ps2 . Wasn't perfected but was better than 08 , 09 , partialy 10

That's exactly what I don't want from any sports game. I hate the fact that they can be uncompetitive offline. I'm an offline chise guy, have online but don't play sports games online much, and I hate when the CPU is too easy to beat. On the hardest setting, you shouldn't be looking for ways to make the CPU harder to beat. They should be able to break runs on every play you didn't play call right for. That's how the NFL is and that's how the hardest difficulty should be. Of course every now and again you'll have someone miss an assignment in real life, but it should be that if you don't call the right play on defense and you leave yourself exposed than the CPU should take advantage of it.

To Pirgo (the fucking idiot who proclaims his stupidity every time he lays his fingers on a keyboard), Nuk was talking about the CPU run game not being effective. Not the user running the ball, but the CPU running the ball. And CPU running is something EA Sports has never been able to get right. Not saying 2K got it right because frankly I don't remember if CPU running was good in 2K5. I just don't see how that's something that is so hard to get right.

Like you said Nuk, it's shit we can find out within a day of playing the game, so there's no reason at all that it should make it through a year of testing and development without being caught and fixed (more than a year if you take into account the fact that a lot of these problems have been going on for the past couple of years).
