In a day and age when winning is everything around here, i can always count on dave to take me back to the good ole days.

Me and him just played an excellent game IMO, 7-7 in OT. Earlier in the game i kicked a FG, gets called back because of holding, no biggie, i punt it. Now in OT Dave punts it away, i break a tackle and get to the 36, run 3 running plays to get it into the middle of the field and at the 30. Kick the FG, its good....but once again holding...Dave declines the penalty and loses.

Thats fine...Just as along as you don't call someone out for not having sportsmanship if they don't decline...Just because someone doesn't see things the way you do, does not give you a right...Calling someone out for nothing, is worse than someone doing something shaddy...imo

It's not as if those things don't happen in real life, don't be the self proclaimed king of sim and get upset when something real actually happens.

Trust me, I wouldn't expect it from about 98% of the guys here - and don't care.
I guess it's better to be the king of sim, than the queen of sim.

timeout - if it's SIM play we're talkin about - EVERYONE here knows the SIM thing to do would be to take that penalty - no coach would decline the penalty and sit in a press conference and say "he deserved the W, they got that great return"

There isn't a glitch in real life that causes more holding penalties than normal.

Everything that happens bad in the game is a glitch...Are you sure you are not the founder of OS?

I didn't know that. I hate how Ask Madden is a default on 4th down plays.

You don't ask madden. When you go to the play call screen they will already have Field Goal ready to be selected. That's what he's referring to.

Ok, I am going coo coo for coco puffs...When it's 4th down and I'm in FG range, the FG formation automatically pops up. Is that what you are saying? Cause, almost all my points come off FG's and never have seen holding.

i auto pick the field goal thats on the screen for X as soon as the playcall screen comes up...


ive had ONE holding penalty in over 30 games played.
