@AJSicignano I dont think game speed is indicative of play style necessarily. To me the faster speeds are more skittish and sloppy.

I would be willing to bet money that "not normal" speed is going to remain. I hope I am wrong, but the above indicates otherwise.

This is sad and disappoiting to me that EA treats it's hard-core Madden players like this and caves to the casual arcade-style crowd, because I have always been one to doubt all the EA naysayers up to this point. What another disapointing $60+ spent. :flush:

The only guy I really see praising the slow speed is PastaPadre and it seems EA is giving right into since he is on their nuts. I'm tweeting Ian, Donny and the other Madden devs to let them know what a mistake they made. It's hilarious they are caving into the casual gamers wants.

I've jumped around to all of their tweets and seems to be it's a slobbering love fest. Rac was over here earlier right after I PM'd him at Pasta's site and invited him over to VSN, and I even started a thread for him to give just one logical explanation why they did this. He came....but not a peep...so I'm assumming there is not as yet a logical explanation for changing the speed online to "not normal."

But from the looks of the ass-kissing going on, we can pretty much tell who is a big pusher of getting the change. I just hope Rac and Ian.....or someone higher can kick some sense into peeps and Monday all will be right in the world...............almost.............Washington, D.C. is still an even bigger and more important problem, lol.

The best thing to do is just keep letting them know what a mistake they are making. Seems like Pasta and his crew or whoever just kept complaining about it and they (EA) gave them what they wanted. Just gotta do the same and get them to change it back.

this who slow shit just doesnt make sense to me at all. the game is supposed to be fast. what do they always say about rookies coming out of college? they have to get used to the speed of the game. they say that veterans need to get used the speed again in TC and pre season games. they need to go back to the way it was on ps 2. the 'speed' of the game was detremined by the level you played. even the kick meter had a different speed based on the difficulty level you chose. is it just that these idiots are so vain that they need to be able to play and win on all madden or else their lives will end? the whole speed option shit is teh same as that gay ass family targeting ea rewind junk. mayeb we need two games, one for people that want real football and one for losers who cant keep up.
