    Can anyone tell me....

Finally is the game stats good when you sim or does Peterson get 40 carries in a game and 500 for the season? thanks
You'll be happy to hear that most of that is all fixed. Draft is considerably better, as well as the sim stats. The only thing that's an issue is rushing TD's are a little low, but that can be fixed changing the coaching strategies. I'd say you def wanna get Madden this year.

Draft logic is better but not perfect. Stats are terrible. Runningbacks MAY break double digit td's and if they do its like 10-12. Theres numerous stat glitches that raise and lower stats from your team and others. The half tackle and half sack thing is messed up. Supersim screws up stats too. Passing is completly broken and if you dont think so you should kill yourself right now. The wr's release on the wrong side and always get pressed even by shitty corners. The db's know the routes better than the wr's too. Passing in the flats or slants across the middle are incredibley easy and the only way to pass because zone coverage is fucked up and so is the whole wr/cb interactions. Theres no pass rush on slower game speeds. Pass blocking sucks ass for user. The cpu quarterback throws the ball away EVERY time your about to sack him or have him wrapped up. The game is pretty trash right now......

BUT the game will be pretty good after a patch.

Sacks for user non simmed games are non existant. The qb throws the ball away way too much when hes about to get sacked everytime. He doesnt even get intentional grounding or anything. You can get diving sacks but those are kinda cheese. 3-4 defence NEVER gets sacked. The game is just a little screwed up and needs a patch...

Controlling all 32 teams and changing the philosophy does have a positive affect on the stats. There are some good fixes for this over on OperationSports.

mjh, I have a good feeling that you're similar to myself when it comes to Madden...the utmost priority is a realistic franchise mode (sim stats, draft logic, etc.). I can tell you that this game is not perfect, but then again, what version of Madden has been perfect?

But I can also tell you that this is BY FAR the best next-gen Madden to date. Franchise mode, sim stats, and draft logic are not perfect, but definitely playable. That is to say, in a franchise report, you could pass them off as realistic, or just slightly askew.

As for the gameplay itself, it has it's problems...but I'm sure the first patch will go a long way to helping it out. And with the number of sliders in the game, it can be tuned to be playable pre-patch, and to your liking.

Anyone wanna point me to a specific thread? I looked over there, but couldn't find anything.

Read through all 42 pages of gripes.. If you find yourself still convinced this shit is worth $60, I envy you. You're easily pleased.

At it's current stage, you even have guys like Adembroski trying to find ways to make the game playable, again, pre-patch.... and he was hyping this shit up at pre-release. Adem's list of patch material alone, will make you laugh in amazement that this game was even released.

You can beat zones easily on all madden without slant or flat abuse . You can also avoid being pressed to death by using formations such as trips te at the left or bunched looks on certain sides of the feild . Pass blocking is fine for me as a user on and offline . Step up into the pocket and I rarely have trouble v all madden . Every now and then they fuck up (1-2 times a game) but that's life . You can also get pass rush with clever blitzes (not nanos) or by usering a dlineman and doing swim moves .

While the stats thing you mention are true I feel like some of your statements are untrue or at least overexaggerated (sp?) . Or at least from my personal viewing they are .

Btw this post is not saying Madden is great , it's an improvement from 09 . It's not as big of one as I hoped but shit happens
