Rules/Guidelines you feel are outdated

I want to know which gameplay guidelines you feel arent necessary or are outdated. I see people making their case for such things in the bad game thread. I know if a rule is up their im trying my best to follow it. Im going to continue to try my best to play by all posted guidelines as well.

The updated guidelines look great.

I cant tell that anything was taken out, all the rules still look good to me. I see that pulling players off of the LOS on any play is still banned which pleases me.

I think he took out the moving players pre snap thing. Not really sure what all he took out to be honest.

I took out the fair catch rule, pinch and crash rule, not being able to bring a safety past the LBs pre snap is gone, as is moving the LB's close to the line of scrimmage (manually)

how about.... play the game.... NO pulling players off the line of scrimmage... no nano blitz, no HB direst snap, no pass plays to be called more then 4 times a game and call it a fucking day. this year has taken out most of the "cheese" things you can do why have a laundry list of bitch fit rules that people are going to complain about? Fuck each and every complaint Ive had has gone without anything done about it, and ive had other players back the complaints Ive had, but Ill happily get called out by one person, sweet.

85% of the guys here play CHEESE compared to most peoples standards, people come here knowing nobody else will use shitty tactics against them, then they look better then they really are. Seriously, like I said, very few guys here are actually sim AND good. which is why I'd rather play ranked, if you beat me, i played fine, but if we play again and i beat you by 10 points im cheesing? suck a fuck man really.

Ive played plenty of guys who beat me and i really didnt have any complaints about their game including you. I think there are definitely guys who are sim and good here. Ive only played 1 guy in 40 games around here that i thought was cheesy. Im not going to make a public mockery of that guy, i just choose to never play him again.


This is the second time you say you'd rather play ranked than play the guys here. I think you're a good opponent but if you have so many problems with the guys here, then by all means go play east room games where you are going to play against 3 teams most likely... Eagles, titans, dolphins. You are going to get a steady dose of PA rollout glitch with Vick, Young, and White.



Mcstl if you're reading i watched the titans vs browns game the other night and im watching the broncos vs bears game now... I made it a point to watch and see if any team had extra guys back to block on Punt returns. It has not happened once, in fact ive only saw the two guys on one gunner like you get on both sides in madden once. The bears had two guys on one broncos gunner , the other gunner only had one guy on him. If anything madden gives you extra guys to help you set up blocking on punt returns compared to the games ive been watching this preseason so pulling guys off of the LOS to block is not necessary.

I agree. I feel like if someone is pulled off the line the defense should have a free run at the punter. That would fix it.
