    OS's NBA 2K10 Hands-On Preview

NBA 2K9 led the league in sales and critical acclaim last season while battling against inferior opponents, and has in general been leaps and bounds ahead of the competition for years now. In other words, it's tough being the king. But with the competition finally showing signs of life, NBA 2K10 is now looking to show that it has the goods to hold...

    Good read.

Never tried this but was wondering....

Can you throw an alley oop from out of bounds? Say you only have 0.2 seconds and you have the ball on your side of court......it would be nice to make this an option to win a game.

Also don't like the one year contracts only....takes away from realism, which is what they are marketing and stating all the time. Another thing that is hard to balance out is attributes toward the end of a career. I think they should go down....such as jumping, maybe ratings of shooting.....perhaps increase awareness, make a leadership rating (that could go up/down with years). Once again this takes away from realism.....I just hope everyone doesn't end up as a 97-99 rating.....even Jordan (greatest of all time) wasn't "Jordan" during his Wizard years.

edit: As someone mentioned in the comment section.....next year add the ability to hire asst. coaches as your head coach. Former players could be hired as coaches/gm (make you the player the owner).

yeah that made me think of dwight howard, not david lee lol
"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

This was pretty much identical to the IGN preview lol, like the exact same things were mentioned.
