I think with Live getting Mike Wang it's a good step for them even tho I liked 09's controls.

Does Czar have head to head impressions? Does he have online cheeser impressions or is he going and playing sim against an AI opponent? Otherwise, his opinion isnt what its cracked up to be because he isnt touching all aspects of the game.
He's a respected community member from that community who knows basketball games inside and out. He also is a guy who knows about all the things you mentioned.

I called it, he played a CPU AI. No scores, did he beat the AI easily or did they just look good playing against him?

When tend to play to the level of our opponent, H2H or AI. Did he try to overuse moves of effectiveness?

So when a person plays H2H/online, the real review will commence.

I understand its good to get a 'respected community member" in to help evaluate the game. Why not get a world renowned cheeser in to break the AI adaptability?

            If that makes any sense...

Makes sense yes, he didn't beat the AI easily b/c he was busy trying to stay competitive the whole time.

When you play the game on Pro, you'll win easy

Play it on all-star (which we designed the game around) and see how it goes.

Noted but you're still talking about playing an AI opponent.

Agreed, but anything I say at this point is talk. You should see h2h in the demo. We at the office play non stop and unless your opponent is non-existent, you're luck if you can get 3 legit dunks off in the game.

Is there anyway to get your hands on the demo early? Like the gamestop deal they had for Madden for 4 5 Minute quarters? After reading that on OS gets me pumped to try this demo.

Glad to see you around again, Bossman. I hope you'll stay around and not get spooked by some of the meaner posters. Lets get this I dislike how your game looks. Arenas and such are great, but the player models need serious work. Gameplay in 09 was actually solid and headed in the right direction. I loved NCAA Basketball 09, so I'm really excited for this game - especially since 2K dropped the ball on Franchise Mode last year.

I have a couple of questions.

Will Carmelo Anthony be accurately rated or massively underrated like always?

Why don't you guys take advantage of NCAA Basketball series and allow us to import draft classes? If not this year, will it be looked at in the future? I really dislike random generated classes.

Will the hustle plays and steals be overpowered and occur often? Are there variations of this animation?

Will teams play more like themselves and in Franchise Mode will new coaches bring that style of play to that new team? For example, if D'Antoni goes to San Antonio Spurs will the Spurs become a faster-paced team?

Can we adjust players accessories and colors without having them reset by the DNA updates?

In Franchise Mode can we set team accessories colors for HOME and AWAY?

Will we finally be allowed to add and remove headbands from players on our own instead of waiting for the roster updates?

What up NOBLE? Hope you're doing well my man. You'll be happy with Melo this year dude, he's sick. You don't like our player models? We redid them, and added more body types. I think when you see them up close this year, you'll notice a difference.

You can set team accessories and colors and it won't be overwritten. Yes, you'll be able to remove headbands as well, but it will then be saved off as a separate roster file

NCAA roster import is actually a bigger issue than you'd think. Yes, we had the tech during the current gen days, but that was never carried over and it would have to be re-coded. We know it's a big thing for you guys, but when we had to divide up resources, we had no choice but to put most / all towards gameplay. We think you'll see that in the demo.

Hustle plays and steals are by no means overpowered. That doesn't mean though that if you're constantly trying to drive and force the drive you aren't going to get ripped because you will.

Happy to answer any other Q's man. Good to see you again!

assuming I like the demo of course

I dont understand this. As long as the control and gameplay are down pat, why would playing an AI opponent be bad for H2H players?

Designing a game for H2H=bad for offline players. Madden 10 is a perfect example of this.

I read Czar's post. I liked it. I think hes a little too excited, but I like to hear that locomotion and momentum are stand out improvements. Now make sure you guys share this with Madden devs.
