Who said basketball is the same as football? You gonna give a legitimate response to my question?

Well, most 'sim' guys wouldn't try to exploit the AI, they would go with the flow and try not to over do it. Many h2h guys would find a move and over do it.

And I said GAME not sport.

There is definitely similarities. But I'm not here to discuss that.

Your concern is that, for example, a specific move or "tactic" in H2H having a high success rate against another user? And then that opponent abusing it? Is that really avoidable in a sports game? Unless you play someone who you know plays sim.

And here lies our problem, why should people play sim? Shouldn't the game force you into being a sim player instead of putting certain restrictions on your playstyle?

Well, I think the term "sim" is taken too heavily nowadays. I think these games should be made to play the game the right way. Its not right to have a player be able to run around and dunk every time they have the ball. Or to run down court and jack up a three point shot and be successful. If you want to play the game like that, then I think the lower difficulties should allow this, and the more difficult ones to not allow this. So in H2H, if you want the most realistic game experience, you bump it to a higher level. And vice versa for those who dont.

And maybe not even have to label these standards as "easy" or "hard." Maybe find a different way to differentiate. Thats my belief on the way these games should be tailored when trying to appeal to two(or more) different audiences.

And as far as whether or not you are satisfied with the way it is setup for Live 10, well thats when the demo will serve its purpose. September 10th is the date. Tell your homies to have their controllers ready.

I'd rather play the full game, head to head, instead of the demo.

Thats too bad lol. Cause the demo comes out first. Unless you plan on just buying the game without playing the demo.

It's not 100% avoidble but game makers can make it harder to abuse things . Example

On 2k you could throw football passes with any player down the court ..... so they added a feature where if you do that the ball will 9/10 go out of play this year unless you are doing it with a real good passer .

I honestly feel like EA and other companies should get people in who are trying to find shit to abuse . Let them take there best shot at exposing flaws and abusing things then try your best to fix or tone them down .

So when a person plays H2H/online, the real review will commence.

I understand its good to get a 'respected community member" in to help evaluate the game. Why not get a world renowned cheeser in to break the AI adaptability?

                    If that makes any sense...

I agree, They seem to always bring in the sim guys instead of someone who...well..cheeses. They need to bring in sim players and freestyle players to community events.

I am looking forward to Live this year. The gameplay looks smooth to me, i was a Live fan on the pre gen systems but since my switch over to next gen Live has not been the same.

But this year i actually have a little optimism that i will be able to get through a full game.

                            And welcome to VSN

I have always been a 2k guy, and loyal to the game (to a fault id say)

Cool you came over here to talk Live with us, the videos I have seen show that the game has really improved, most notably the new player models which I think look VERY good. and I will definitley give the demo a look this year, and decide on whether to buy it. Especially since my boy Dwight is on the cover.

I havent read too many reviews on Live 10, Question, anything added to franchise mode?? Also how are the post moves in Live??? will it just be running around a guy and dunking or are there alot of specific post moves???
