i havnt played in about 2 weeks. I also havnt played ncaa in a week or so. But i fired up madden last night to try and see if i could get into this game.
i was pleasantly surprised at how well the game played compared to my first few days of playing. Maybe it was getting ncaa out of my system and not being so used to that game vs madden. But i still had my sliders setup and was able to get solid blocking in both the run and pass game. I was also able to rush the QB rather easy. I got 5 sacks, 4 of them were from me controlling players (3 for DE 1 from CB)
So i am saying to myself as i play, did EA modify some things? I know these isnt a patch, but with them doing all kinds of shit server based, i figure they must have the ability to tweak things on the server side and have it apply to the game...maybe thats a reach, but the game felt totally different. In a good way.
I played a 2nd game and moved the speed up to fast. used the same sliders and everything else. Now here is where it gets really odd. I just crushed the Vikings with the browns. Every other game has been me losing or very close win. But this game had the vikings with 37 total yards in the 4th. 10 min TOP to my 30 Min. I play 12 min Q
My guys were flying all over the field and it was just super easy.
I wonder if the fast speed changed the game physics to make my sliders totally worthless. I loved the fast speed....it made guys move around and responsive compared to normal. It felt like a much more realistic game at this speed. But idk know why the CPU was basically playing like they were up against an all madden team
