We will officially start the league tonight at 7 pm est. Please begin playing your games. You will have until Wednesday night at 11 est to play your week 1 game.

I still realize people have not joined. If you have not joined the online franchise you need to NOW.

If you do not have an opponent I am going to ask you to give them until Tuesday night to join. If you do not have an opponent by then you may play the computer. We need to get things rolling.

Perhaps we should change FA to the bidding method? That would speed things up tremendously.

He definitely is. I have made the Jaguars an available team. All I can ask of you guys is patience with finding the 32 active members. I think we have built a decent group of guys thus far in comparison to a lot of other start up leagues.

We have implemented the FA bidding method. We are just waiting on a sub-forum.

I am gonna give up the Cowboys-this online franchise will not make it and I am not a fan of wasting time. Commishs are lost and I already see quite a bit of kids that will surely quit after some losses. FA is flawed-M Harrison thread. Good luck with it though-gonna need it.

I agree with this statement. Legendary + Leatherheads would make for a great franchise.

Packers have an owner. If you have a CPU opponent you're allowed to play them. If you don't get in your week 1 game by tomorrow night at 7 est. Please let me know if your opponent cannot be contacted and I will see what I can do..Furthermore, I can boot them for being inactive and you can play the CPU. However, I think I have already booted all inactive players.

I've tried to contact the Chiefs' owner Darb93 about my available times and he hasn't gotten back to me in almost 2 days now. I am busy all day tomorrow, so the only way I am going to get my game in is tonight. Should you boot him, let me play cpu and then re-invite him? I am pretty sure his xbox is still in for repairs anyway.

Update on Chiefs, I just get on xbox live, see that he is on. He is playing a franchise game that just started, it says 1st quarter 3-0 so I invite him to our game since his game just started. I send the invite and almost immediately...he signs off. wtf

^^Hey bdub--I'm sorry about that. We will give the next couple of days to get through the first week and we will make more boots.

Are you guys in agreement that we would rather keep pushing the franchise despite some computer games? Rather than stopping and extending the deadline every week waiting for users etc..

Also sadly, there is nothing I can do about resetting the game. Once it is played it is played. This is something that definitely needs to be added for next years franchise.
