My chargers struggled out of the gate to start 0-3. My first 3 opponents had a combined record of 14-1 going into last week. We won our next two to step up to 2-3. Im in a division with DSA so the best i can hope for is the wildcard spot.

Its not perfect by any means, but when you have a great group of owners and advance every three days its amazingly fun.

At least in these games i can get my rookies some playing time late in games in hopes that they progress like a champ in the offseason. In tracker games when one team is down big, its just a snoozefest to kill the clock.

It gets the job done. I'm hoping they allow us to sim individual games and hand out wins and losses. It sucks that when a game doesn't get played we're forced to leave the result up to the Madden gods.

Otherwise, it's been running very smooth. 32 owners hasn't really stopped us from moving at a fast pace. We're currently playing a game every three days.

thats the sucky part about a franchise league, you need 32 human owners to make it great. nobody wants to play the CPU on all madden

i was thinking about running a franchise league for myself... i planned on having 16 guys fill in, sually someone who is a fan of the team i'm playing that week... just have the cpu sim the rest of the games... is that even possible? Can I use my own rosters?

We had a huge waiting list the first day we had sign ups. I think we had a group of 40 or 50 and we had to cut that down to 32.

I believe you were the first one to sign up tho once I made it a separate thread. Your time will come.

I know, I'm not trippin about it. I made a decision before the year started not to sign up for any leagues until playing the game and getting feedback about the online franchise feature. Fighting through the waiting list is part of what I have to deal with now. You all know my rep in leagues, so I'm not worried about it.

Are you saying like you want to run your personal chise and have a random VSN guy who is a fan of the team play against you every week?

Yes its possible you would have to make a chise, and have a guy join for each team when you needed them to play you.

yea that's exactly what I meant... is there a minimum of people that have to sign up at the begg of the league? is there an actual off-season or does the year just end?

i've yet to even research or mess online franchise at all...

Definitely awesome. I kept saying months before Madden dropped that this would be the premier and best Madden 10 league on the net and it certainly is. The great thing bout it is, since it's the first season, it's bare bones almost in terms of content. I think next season though there's gonna be more Franchise features such as interviews, highlights, player spotlights, etc. The possibilities are almost endless and the league is essentially as fun as you make it.

its fun but its a commitment. 3 games a week with strict guidelines screw me up. Also u miss a game it gets simmed, its fair cause theres no real better solution but when you when lose and feel that you could have won and your in a division race tht sht sucks.

I just beat gangsta simmed, im 0-2 vs him, im sure if we played he had a great chance of beating me again. And it was my fault we couldnt play.

Of my first 6 games 4 have been simmed. 2 werent my fault i tried scheduling, 2 were where i couldnt make the time.

Other then that its a great LG, very well run. Nice feedback. The part i really liked was the TGT records they were going to keep. Plus first offseason im sure would have been a blast with draft and all.

If this was 2 games a week it would be perfcet for me. 1 game a week seems too little IMO.

I think im going to be dropping out soon castle if my shcedule keeps me from playing games on time. Its not fair to my opponent when i sim a W vs them. SO in other wordas the Rams might be open.
