Beatles Rock Band is out....anyone buy it or plan to buy it?

I see it on ebay new for about $45, so I'm debating it.

The game is definitely over hyped, but thats just because the game had potential to be so much better then it turned out to be. Its good for what it is but they should of just pushed the release date back a year or so and make the game truly great.

I rented it and played through it. I made the mistake of assuming that it was going to continue on after 1969 and I'd get to play some John Lennon songs....I was wrong...

I got it. But I buy everything and I'm a sucker for music games. Plus I basically got it for $45 with the Buy 1 get 1 50% deal from Best Buy a few weeks ago.

45 songs is pretty much bullshit though for anyone is a bit more frugal with their cash. Not to mention they are gouging you for DLC day one. Crock of shit if you ask me.

Basically if your buying this for just to play songs and thats it you shouldn't have bought it.

Its straight up for people that are fans of the beatles and people that have enjoyed their music in the past. The story mode has so much more then just play this song and get the next song and if thats what you wanted you shouldn't of bought this day 1.

This is why I won't buy it due to the fact it looks really easy and I don't like the beatles. For people that are fans though they will enjoy this. There's so many little extra's that went into it, if you missed them then you missed the point of the game.

I wish harmonix would of done the Metallica one now. It pissed me off how awesome the beatles game is compared to other band only games that activision has put out.

Yep.....its great if your a beatles fan, which i am not and that is why i didnt finish the game before returning it. I found myself falling asleep the other night while trying to play this game. BORING....the songs that is. But the design of the game and all the interesting facts and photos were cool. I also like how they did the story mode and how it followed their actual career.

Split this game three ways so I payed $15 for it. If I had to pay more, then I wouldn't have picked it up. Looks fun, but I feel like I'd tire out from it quickly.

I'm a huge Beatles fan and I love the game. I do wish there were more songs but the visuals that come along with the music is fantastic. I love how they play in front of crowds at famous venues like the ed Sullivan show. A lot better than Metallica where there at the same concert the whole time. It seems like the game is missing a few huge Beatles songs, but I guess Harmonix thought they wouldn't be fun to play. Fantastic game.

lol at you guys who are not Beatles fans that either bought the game or rented. I haven't bought it, going to play it tonight, huge Beatles fan, the 45 songs is probably whats going to keep me from buying it, I mean they already got tons of planed DLC, in the end I will end up paying a shit load more downloading all the songs that should have come with the game to begin with. I mean looking at the track list they have one song from the Help album, and it isn't even one of the top 5 big songs from the album. total joke, my friend owns it and I will probably just play it at his house rather than spend 60 bucks, until I can get it real cheap

Anyone have any problems unlocking the Day Tripper achievement? I'm pretty salty right now. I started the story yesterday around 3pm and finished it up around 3am and not achievement. Fucking b.s.
