I didnt find a thread when i searched, but i was curious if anyone still plays RB2?

This game is still awesome to play. They release new DLC every week. I was just browsing thru the DLC from 2009 alone and there is a ton of good shit to DL.

I still play almost every other day. I'm kinda amazed at how long this game keeps up. I'm dieing for a rock band 3 though. I just cannot get into the newer guitar hero's at all. I just borrow them all the time friends since I play them for maybe a week and won't touch them again for a long time.

We had a mini band going for rock band 2 but no one was ever around at the same time. I see awsometrax on every once in a while and he's an expert singer. I play guitar/bass on either hard or expert depending on the song.

i play all the time as well and am pretty good at hard/expert for drums if anyone would like to play sometime.

rb3 needs to come out as i picked up guitar hero world tour and have only played like 40% of the career mode and i don't ever care to go back to it

i was always into playing GH, but then after playing RB2 i noticed that GH was just a boring game to play. I enjoy RB2 so much because its fun playing songs on that game. Not sure why i feel that way.

Serious question here Maynard seeing as how you can share songs on ps3 why didnt you get the ps3 version, did you already have the stuff from 1 for 360?


I probably have 100+ dlc songs, i might have payed for 20 of them

i dont know much about the sharing thing on ps3 so that didnt even cross my mind when i got the game. I had the gh games and instruments, so when i rented RB2 to try it out it was for the 360. I ended up getting stuck with the game i rented from blockbuster cause i didnt return it in time.

gamestop has the RB2 bundle for 99 bucks. So i think i am gonna trade in some games to pick it up. i need a new guitar anyways and i can trade in the RB game i have towards the purchase of the bundle and have the drums and mic.

anyone know if/when RB3 is supposed to be released?

They've said its not coming out in 09, so sometime in 2010 most likely.
