If you are going to sit in Zone D all game

Please do not play me. It isn't that I can't beat it or it's too hard. It's just damn boring. Damn, I'm seeing a lot of this lately. I don't mind if you run zone most of the game, but if you are doing just about every play, please don't waste my time.

Mcstl(aka Castle) was right, people are starting to play the same around here. As soon as I try to get into the game to get my money's worth, I have a string of games of BS(EA or otherwise) that makes me not want to play at all

I definitely don't run zone all game I like man, but its not hard to find routes that expose zone coverage

Actually to get more in depth.

Im not going to play man so someone can just run drag routes and throw quick passes to the TE and RB, why should people mix up on defense when people just run the same shit over and over on offense?

I always mix it up with zone and man, but its hard to play man defense when there is no pass rush. I notice I always give up big plays when I'm in man defense. Pass rush needs to be fix on All Madden, its not that bad on All Pro.

Boody could fall into the quick pass catagory...ive done it a few times...

I find it funny that as soon as someone recognizes man coverage they take a 1 step drop and then just hit the RB in the flat...while my LB is still hanging out in the middle of the field

The way I look at it, If people are going to look down on people who pass every play and want them to mix it up, it should be the same way on defense. Offense: Run and Pass. Defense: Zone and Man.

What happens when someone exploits the flaws in man coverage? Should they still trot out man just to get burned over and over again?

I agree, and thats why I said I dont mind if someone is in zone most of the time. but every play is ridiculous. The pass rush sucks either way though, unless you blitz. if you do man, guys will throw to the RB or TE to the flats quickly. If you are in zone, they just sit and wait 7-8 seconds until the zone breaks down. Just the hand we've been dealt with since EA made the change to slow

I get more pressure using zone then i do man...ive only had a few games where someone has 7 seconds to pass.

It's been proven that you can throw to the flats in zone and get a good 4-5 yards a play as well. The whole game is flawed, not just man coverage. And again, you saying 'over and over again' like whoever is coming out in man D every play. People hardly do that this year. I've been pretty successful with mixing up my playcalling between man and zone. i dont have to sit in zone or man all game to make my defense work.

I'm so sick of hearing there is no pass rush, I can get pass rush with the f'n lions. It's all about blitzing and knowing when and not when to blitz. The key is to catch the opponent waiting for a route to develop and getting sacked when he doesn't even realize it

I can guarantee that if i come out in man coverage 3 plays in a row...2 of those passes are either going to be drags or quick passes...guaranteed. And i would much rather give up 4-5 yards in zone, then 14-15 yards in man because my LB cant keep up with the FB.
