Well this year, not only will they look like that, but they'll be dressed up like fucking clowns on top of it. Yes that's right, fucking CLOWNS.
The only equipment that provides the stat boost are the ones that are spray painted pink/orange/green with graffiti or just flat out plated gold. So yes, those fucking whack assholes will suit up in neon fucking colors to match their already stupid looking fucking players.

Why not add some fucking icing to this mess?
At first I was like, ok cool, either buy the stat boosts or earn them. Not a big deal right?
FUCKING WRONG!
Most of these boosts will require countless hours of gameplay (most of which I don't even want to do) just to unlock. Do I really want to play 3 fucking seasons as a Defensive Defenceman against the CPU, trying to amass 3-40 point seasons and win the Norris? JUST TO UNLOCK ONE FUCKING STAT BOOST?
What kind of time does EA think we have? There's not enough actual time in a calendar year to unlock all of the boosts you'd want.
So yes, you have to pay.
Regardless, plenty of people WILL pay. So right off the bat, expect to be at quite the disadvantage with your EASHL player rating unless you are willing to fork over the dough. You start off 74 OVR, some asshole spends an extra 10-20 bucks and is 90 OVR. You seriously are fucked.
