    Re: Question: NFL Rules

    1. You are on offense and the defense has no TO's left, with the clock running down, if they defense goes offsides, does the clock keep running or stop?

    2. Not NFL related but if you go into double OT( there is no DOUBLE OT in the NFL except for the playoffs right?) why, isn't there another kickoff? Why would the offense keep the ball where they ended the first OT. Is that true?

I think this is one thing that has gone unnoticed by the monkeys that do the testing for EA. If you make the player that you are controlling go offsides, then the clock will continue to run. If a cpu controlled player goes off sides then the clock will stop.

Another thing I noticed...a few weeks ago I was playing some dude and he quit and I continued to play the cpu. I had forced him to punt with about 20 seconds left. The clock was ticking and I wanted to get one more play off so I purposely went off sides to see if the clock would stop and it did.

It appears that the losing teams have more "options" available to them during the last 2 minutes of the half. You ever notice if you are losing in a game and you are in the hurry up, you can audible to another play before your team lines up but if you are winning, you can't.

                Damn monkeys....

And the clock stopped? That's BS. This is what I don't get about EA. In past Madden's, they would have it right and the clock would continue to run. How come, all of a sudden, it's wrong? I just don't get it.

Yeah...kinda like throwing an incomplete pass with 2 seconds left in the first qtr and you go to line up and the qtr is over. Not a big deal but still.
