    Punt return tips?

I can't seem to get past the gunners on punt returns. Anyone have any tips on how to generate some kind of good returns?

It's easy this year for a gunner to make the tackle. The blockers are retarded.

Anyways, I had the same problem. I fixed it by either pulling a guy off the LOS or using a blocker, and using the lead block feture, by hit sticking a gunner before my PR got the ball. If you whiff you're fucked, but it's fairly easy to plow over the gunners with this blocking feature.

forget wildcard what you need to do is never call the block punt unless they are at the 1 and always call cover protect then go get your blocker and use the strafe feature to put in front of your returner and try to guess where the gunner is going to try and cut you off juke opposite direction

Edit the way wildcard says leads to a lot of fumbles if you miss which is not a great option to have better safe than sorry

If you have someone with a well above average spin move more likely than not, if you time it right you can make the first guy miss with a spin if you got two guys on you spin to the outside not inside i use JLHiggins and his spin is beasty can always make the first guys miss

I can usually just use a spin move and get by the gunners fairly easy. It's hard to take PR's to the house though.

i returned a punt for a td yesterday with Clifton Smith. you have to break tackles. i broke 4 tackles. 3 by juking which seems to work really well.

Trade for Hester, he will get you like 10 returns for tds no lie. Plus hes like the best reciever in the game so dont feel bad if you give up alot for him cause hes worth it.

Punt Return left or right and take the guy that's near the LOS but like a yard off it and to the same side you picked for the return. Just sprint back at the snap and you have two blockers for the two gunners and then it is easy. That is how i do it.
