Lasting Injuries All Out Of Whack?

    Hey Guys,

So, I'm hear to complain once again, lol. Currently playing my franchise against the Redskins and on a kickoff return, my LB Darnell Bing ends up breaking his jaw so I'm thinking damn, he's out for the year (thinking specifically about Bengals LB Keith Rivers last year) so I goto the damn injury report and it only says 1 fucking week. Are you kidding me? I don't care who the hell you are, you aren't coming back to play with a broken jaw the very next week, let alone for the rest of the season more than likely. EA I shake my head at you. Anyone else seen injuries that would keep a player shelved ALOT longer than the game says it would? Also, same game, except my rookie KR/HB Aaron Brown suffered a fracture foot this game and is slated to be out only 5 weeks...more BS.

    That is all...for now.

    Later,

    Michael

No shit right. You know the real sad thing is that this year you can no longer put your injured players on injury reserve (or at least I haven't figured out how to yet)...because I certainly would do that for prob both of those players I mentioned just because I like things to be realistic. I mean that's just ridiculous.

Pretty sure I think you can do it.

Player Management I think is where...

Player management? That may be the reason why, I've been trying to do it in the injury report section because that's where it's always been before. I'll check that out after this game to see if you're right. Thanks for the suggestion regardless.

Coulda just been a fracture, which isn't nearly as serious.

Ah hah! You are correct sir! Thank you for that heads up. Just wanted to confirm to everyone that you CAN put players on IR simply by going into Player Management and clicking on the player that's injured that you want to place on IR, simply choose "Put On IR". Thanks again KG.

i would be happy with some injuries that lasted more then the current game im playing.

what are u guys using for injury slider?

also, what do u guys use for fumble slider? my first few games i had 4 fumble per game with the slider at 50. So i went to 60, then back to 55. But my totals for my fumbles lost and recovered were pretty low...i think

i had 8 total fumbles on offense and recovered 6 on dee....which seems low to me

You can't change sim injuries this year though I don't think. They took that slider out I believe. And if they didn't and I missed it then I'll be really happy cause I'd love to adjust that lol. As for the fumbling sliders, I think it's perfect at what it is (50), I'm getting good results with it at the default setting.

Jason Witten broke his jaw, I'm not sure how long he was out, but it wasn't long.

I'm pretty sure Peyton Manning broke his jaw, and he's a QB, and didn't miss a game.

Yeah Peyton broke his and only missed one practice and no games

I guess not taking as many hits at qb helps
