Madden Patch #2 OFFICIALLY Live....

..........for download for the PS3. The patch, V1.01, was released for the United States early this morning....182 mb. Rumors of an earlier US patch being released was for another country.

Added Super Bowl and Playoff field conditions in Online Franchise
Fixed false start griefing issue with online games
Fixed video player issues (sometimes video would hang) in Online area
Improved quality of uploaded video highlights
Switched ranked online games to seven minute quarters
Random stability fixes
Added broadcast camera
Tuned slider effectiveness
Made fatigue affect ratings more
Tuned broken tackle chances
Reduced/removed holding on kick attempts
Improved-toe drag catch logic
General pursuit improvements
Man coverage improvements
Fixed double pass online exploit

I haven't touched Madden in a month but I might have to put down NHL 10 for a second and try this out one more time.

Played one game, didn't notice as many players ending up "red" fatiqued......haven't had situation on the FG issue yet.

Didn't notice much diff in anything else....but only one game.

The big issue with me is still the lack of an option to play at "normal" speed versus EA "turtle" speed. Maybe in the next Madden.

Patch #2? Its out on both consoles. We'll see how much is improved.

I'm pretty sure there was a release day patch which was #1 so that would make this #2.

good....i wanted to start a new season last night, but i finished up my current franchise. I cheesed the CPU though.

I lost the wildcard game to SD, but replayed it and got the win. then i lost the AFC championship in a great game with the pats, but i replayed it and won.....

any word on the slider changes?

btw, this is technically patch #2, but EA refers to it as patch #1 because what we consider the 1st patch was really stuff that didnt get into the retail game before shipping.

they claim there is still a 2nd official patch coming...which would be the 3rd patch, technically
