I'm done with this game. I take a knee with 6 seconds left to setup a game winning FG and the game refuses to let me call a timeout. I must have hit the select button 400 times in the span of 6 seconds.

That was the last straw for me......I'm done.

Once COD:MW2 drops I'm done too. This is just filler for now.

oh, and btw, that was a problem last year as well. I think they were too focused on dynamic tackling and procedural awareness to notice

I haven't touched Madden in probably 3 weeks, and now that NHL is out I'll probably be playing that and MW2 until next July. But just saying... could've tried to pause and called time out from the menu.

There were 6 seconds left before the snap. By the time I snapped it, it went to 5, 4. I wanted to call TO at 3 seconds -- select button not working. My initial rage was enough to let the last 2 seconds tick off the clock. Fuck the pause button. Select has been the timeout button Playstation 1 -- it should've worked.

I might trade this in for NHL 10 then buy MW2 when that drops.

LOL at procedural awareness. I still have the whole secondary flocking to the ball on any deep pass. I'm with you, the moment MW2 comes out this game is done. It'll probably be done before than, unless the second patch turns out to be amazing.

Its ok mobb, I was playing the other day and set myself up for a 50 yard field goal to win it and I called a timeout with three seconds left. I made it but the stupid holding penalty glitch came into play and I lost the game.

Pausing freezes up too, in situations like this, i couldnt pause or press select, chances are he couldnt either if he tried.

I remember this happening last year vs Coach with me. It's pitiful that the same flaws from last year are in this game. I'm trying to enjoy this game as best I can, but I will admit that it's hard.

I like the game overall, but some of the flaws in the game are ridiculous. It just further proves my point the no competition equals lazy development.

Izzy, I've played you a thousand times and not once have you ever pressed start to call a timeout. I'm not an idiot, I triple checked the down and how many timeouts I had, ran the play, hit select like I've been doing since 1996 and expected a timeout. NOTHING HAPPENED. As someone else said, even in the 3 seconds that I had between calling a timeout and the end of the game, if I tried to pause it wouldn't have let me. That alone makes me not want to play this game simply because of the half assed effort EA gives every year with this POS game.

LOL @ panic. Panic about what?? Hitting the select button? I knew exactly what I wanted to do and executed it perfectly, and the game shits on me. That's not my fault. I can't wait until it happens to you and you cry and make every excuse in the book.

Not at anytime did I mention anything about gameplay. I can't "adapt" to a fucking piece of shit glitch that I have no control over.
