for discs, u want verbatim DVD+R/RW DL made in singapore. you can get them at best buy. dont buy the ones made in china as they dont work as well.

before you burn run all games through a check in abgx (its a program) and xdvdmulleter and you will be able to use live if you ever decide you want live. these things are available on xbins i believe.

use 360mods.net as your modding resource, best site on the web.

textbook's tutorial is the greatest guide on the web for the modding process

if you are willing to pay 20 bucks a month to download games early/fast (i d/l games in less than 2 hours) look into usenet services. torrent takes way too long and half the time they are fakes. i use newshosting.com

Well shit, lol. I just picked up a 25 pack of memorex dvd+r DL's. apparently, made in Taiwan.

I keep hearing about those verbatim discs though. hrm.

I used to have newsgroups when I had dsl (and a modded xbox (non 360)) and it was so good. I'm stuck to torrents now but I may consider getting back into newsgroups.
