Alright so i'm bored and have been messing around with emulators and stuff for fun lately.
Anyway, there was this really old game that I always wanted to try but can't remember the name but here is what I know.
(I don't know what system/platform it was on)
1) It was on a TV show. On the tv show the two players would go against each other and try, i can't remember, if it was kill each other or just get a high score. I just remember this was the only time I ever saw the game was on this TV show where they'd have tournaments against each other.
2) I want to say there was either gold/diamonds or circular yellow powerups, whatever they were, around the levels that you could collect.
3)? I want to say the guys you controlled were maybe blue in color (armor?)
4) I think it was futuristic in setting as I think they had like armor/protective marine stuff
5) It had a top-down/or isometric point of view.
It had SNES or worse graphics, so it wasn't after that system. It was sort of like an earlier Smash TV (and not Gauntlet)
I just did some searching online too for old TV gameshows, i'm think it was either on Nick Arcade or VideoPower or whatever it was called.
Eitherway there was a place where they had in the center of the room these arcade units that were attached to each other w/ seats in them that the kids would sit in. The screens were there and thats where they'd play, it was almost like an arena shape.
