Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 announced

December 3, 2008 - Activision Blizzard has revealed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, sequel to Infinity Ward's award-winning first-person shooter.

According to MTV Multiplayer, the publisher revealed the game at a Massive Inc. upfront held in Manhattan, NY. These upfront events typically allow publishers to display their games to advertisers.

While little is known of the game, MTV reports that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is coming out sometime this fall.

Should be out Fall 2009, should be good for the people who prefer modern over WWII settings.

Not that amazing.The spawns are horrible,the snipers are so inaccurate,and the bullet lag is bad also.

The story was long enough,i just wanna finish the story and get right to multiplayer.Supposedly they added 30 more guns,and kept all the old ones.Which is gonna make getting a gold one hard as shit.I also hope they kept the lvl 55 max,65 is way too much.

i've been playing WaW alot the past week and don't have any problems with it. Spawns aren't bad in most game modes, just this game is full of noobs compared to COD4, i can't even play headquarters since everyone playing it spends 99% of the time on the opposite side of the map of the headquarters getting kills

I have to agree with VikesFan. Being able to play online at the same time as my roommate would be awesome. I'm tired of switching off after every 3 deaths.
