    Question

    When you look at your recruiting board it look like this...

    CL---RK---PLAYER---POS---INT---CH---STAGE---VISIT---OFR

    CL=Call
    RK=Rank
    PLAYER=Players name
    POS=Players position
    INT=Interest
    CH=Interest change
    STAGE=?
    VISIT=When he had a visit or if he is ready
    OFR=If you offered him a scholarship and how many teams have offered him one.

    I need to know what STAGE means. Does it mean they have locked it down to the top 5 or 10 because it shows top 3, top 5 and top 10 and I have no clue what it means. Does anyone know for sure what it means?

    I believe stage means where they are with their decision. If it says top 5, or top 3 they are only considering the top 3 or 5 or whatever number of schools now.

      Stage means at what stage of recruiting a recruit is. They essentially have four stages: top 10, top 5, top 3, and committed. Just kinda lets you know where they are in terms of signing...if they're still top ten, you've got a few weeks. Top 3, and the decision is coming quickly.

        So if you are not in their top 3 when it says top 3 you have no chance at getting him?

          Hmm...dunno about that. Good question though.
