Both games are good this year.
I officially consider NBA2k blind fanboys the most annoying observers of sportsgaming on the Net now.
I have no issue with you liking 2k more - it's a great game and deserves its love. But this blind "2k rulez" crap is just annoying.

OS has some very good impression guys.

And there's just more depth over there. Hell, there isn't even one Live impression here yet ... and the 2k impressions alternate between serious and "Live sucks".

Here's my impressions that i posted on another site.

After 2 games....

DISLKIKES

-There are some moments of slowdown. Xbox 360 users are having the same problem but apparently the slowdown isnt as bad on the PS3 and 2k will have to patch it.

-Lots of jags. Im playing on an HD tv and man the jaggies are so noticeable. Then again, 2k9 had jags as well.

-The menus.....the shitest menus i've ever had to navigate in a video game. You have to hold down the joystick and move the other joystick to a section in the menu you are navigating. It's a pain in the ass. It's like stretching a rubber band. You pull out and when you let go it snaps back in. That is how the menu is.

-The PA will sometimes call players (who arent stars) by there jersey numbers while the main commentary crew call them by their last name. WTF?

-Random cutscenes. Make a layup and the camera may suddenly focus on a dude on the bench.

LIKES

-Better commentary. Hell, there are moments where they are laughing.

-Gameplay. Always been a strenght in NBA 2k games.

-Crowd. Not as noisy as the crowds in NBA Live 10 but they cheer at the right moments. When you get blown out, they become dead quiet. So do the commentators.

-Players show emotion. Get an and 1 and they make that lil fist bump in the air and open their mouths as if they are screaming. Get called for a bad foul and the player may talk with the ref.

**all in all it's a fun game. Not too impressed this time around but what can i say, i got this game for 5 bucks (traded in UFC and NCAA 10 at gamestop. Also had 8 dollars left on my edge card ;D)

It feels like there's no defense as the CPU can score at will and players in general have a tough time keep with their man.
