Need Help Stopping the Run!

I cant stop it, im talking mostly about User opponents, the CPU will every once in a while have a 80+ yd game, but against User teams i cant stop anything no matter what. This is where i wish madden had the Run/pass commit.

Anyone know any good plays to run and how to run them effectively from a 3/4? Or from the nickle and dime?

I run with the Cowboys, with the Titans i dont seem to have that big of a problem. Should i switch Defenses? Run 4/3 or something else?

When using a 3-4 i shift my d-line to the strong side and sometimes bring a safety down. If i don't bring a safety down i just user control a linebacker and follow wherever my opponent is running and can stop the run pretty easily that way. I primarily use a 3-4 and i don't find it hard at all to stop the run.

Yeah 4-6 is a dangerous formation lol.
I never really have a problem stopping the run when I see it coming.

Whenever I KNOW a run is coming I control a safety and bring him into the middle of the field over the center about 15 yards deep and then use him. If it's a toss it's real easy to get past the O-line.

Yeah controlling a Safety helps a lot. You can bring him up if you think they're running. Nice to have that extra man in the box.

controlling the saftey can also be dangerous, because if u bail out and go for the run your gunna leave a huge hole in the middle of your field. Try run blitzing and controlling a linebacker. They can't run into a hole that has a LB blitzing into it. It'll force them to try to bounce it out/in so u can swarm and make the tackle.
