Offside Glitch?

So after an injury I decided to let Terence Newman back in the game in my franchise. When he comes back he jumps offside. I think it's just a mistake. But he has now done it TWICE in a row. Is this a glitch? This is a complete wtf moment here.

EDIT: 4 times now resulting in a fucking TD. WOW.
