when I get the game, I intend to run a Nets chise...thanks for posting these, I'll letcha know how these work.Originally posted by Nick MangoldWes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate. -
First game using these (other games were me tweaking, I'm REALLY content with these), defeated the Clippers 97-95. I play 12 minute quarters btw.
Turnovers were a bit high but not like either team offense's are that good. However, both teams shot just under 50%. Rebounds were about even 38-35.
Expect for both teams to score 95-105 points a game.
I know people are going to cry about the quickness attribute. rofl. It slows down the game a bit but imo, for the better.
The game out of the box feels very arcadish and you're able to drive around anyone. That will no longer be the case.Last edited by mfbmike; 10-07-2009, 08:05 PM.Comment

If you do play on all-star, my assumption is you will have to turn down shot sliders a bit more considering the easier setting. But by all means, go for it.Comment

Nice. I'll try these later tonight and post some stats. Who did you use against the Clips? Also, just curious...how long do 10 minute quarter games usually last you guys? Bout an hour?
EDIT: I'm not exactly the greatest at basketball games (although I thought I got significantly better last year on 2k9 after playing it so much...but then I took a break for bout 4-5 months til 2k10 dropped), you don't think I'm gonna get blown out with HoF do you?Last edited by krulmichael; 10-07-2009, 08:06 PM.

Well, considering I'm using the T'Wolves and was playing the Clippers, that's 2 pretty bad teams. lol.
The game was close but I highly expect the game to be that close when I host Boston in the upcoming game. You'll see those results in my chise once I play the game.Comment

ill be using these tomorrow when I finally get a chance to sit down and play the game for an extended period of time

I do know for a fact though, default sliders will make it extremely easy to just drive by defenders so easy layups/dunks.
These sliders also turn down dunks. Only the best dunkers actually dunk in traffic. Average dunkers will only dunk with open lanes, etc etcComment

Not sure how they would translate to user v. user but I suppose it's worth a try.

Well, what I posted in my chise was just shooting sliders and rules. A base if you will. I've ended up with this after a number of games.
Pretty big difference imo.Comment

Just played a game with these, Hawks (me) vs Pacers. Pretty damn good.
Final Score: Hawks 103, Pacers 96
Shooting %: ATL 50%, IND 46%
3-PT FG: ATL (6-16), IND (7-19)
Rebounds: ATL 46, IND 41
Turnovers: ATL 11, IND 14
Points in the Paint: ATL 39, IND 37
Assists: ATL 23, IND 24
Hawks Stats
Joe Johnson - 24 pts, 7 ast, 5 reb
Josh Smith - 20 pts, 9 reb, 3 blk
Marvin - 16 pts, 7 reb, 2 stl
Al Horford: 12 pts, 14 reb, 2 blk
Jamal Crawford: 12 pts, 3 ast
Mike Bibby: Fuck this guy.
Pacers Stats
Danny Granger: 34 pts, 6 reb, 4 ast. This guy's a monster.
Mike Dunleavy/Troy Murphy: 15 pts apiece
TJ Ford: 11 pts, 12 ast, 3 stl (played very realistically - using his quicks to get past Bibby, hitting a few mid-range shots, and dishing nicely)
Roy Hibbert: 10 pts, 11 reb, 2 blk
Good, very realistic game overall. Nice work mike.Comment
