Dragon Ball Z games have had no problem finding themselves in the hands of countless gamers ever since they've been brought back six years ago. Since then we've seen countless DBZ iterations and spin-offs launch on nearly every available mainstream console over the course of time. Last June we got Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, which was a pretty solid game and captured the essence of the cartoons very well, with the Saiyan and Cell Games arc. Now, comes Dragon Ball: Raging Blast as the follow up to Burst Limit.
Instead of three story arcs/sagas, Raging Blast encompasses the most pivotal and well known moments from the entire DB series, by boasting over 100 battles! On top of that, the game also features alternate outcomes that were, obviously, never included in the series. Now, you as you might expect, with over 100 battles, that must mean the game features a vast roster of fighters to cover all of these epic bouts that span the entire series. Over 70 playable characters will be made available to you, many of which are capable of transforming into their enhanced forms, making this the largest DB game to date.
10 interactive environments can be brought down to pieces as you unleash your powers on your opponents, slamming them into, or even through mountains, buildings, and much more. Raging Blast will offer you more freedom than Burst Limit did during its fights, further helping to really blur the line between the cartoon and the game.
Team battles will allow gamers to fight with the help of another fighter that they can switch to immediately or call on for help, much like the Capcom "Vs." games. Moreover, fighters can be equipped with customized Super Attacks in order to match the gamers preferences and style. In addition to that, all new Super Rising attacks will be featured, as well. And unlockable content will include new items and abilities.
Multiplayer will include offline and online modes, one of which is an online World Tournament mode. Some single-player modes will include Dragon Battle Collection and Super Battle Trial, in addition to a Dojo mode for training purposes.
Lastly, expect to see visuals that are even sharper than last year's game, as the screenshots speak for themselves. Look for Raging Blast to arrive November 10th.
