      Better late than never. :bawling:

      Price man.

Wii cheapest system + the demographic it catered too made it most accessible which is why it owned the console wars of this gen.

Obviously, it's far from the best system in terms of processing power/graphics, etc.

PS3 sales skyrocketed when they dropped price.

I still don't know if I would really consider the Wii as a part of the next-gen race. I mean it's so different than the other two that it can't really be classified in the same class of game consoles.

I wonder if the PS3 will continue it's momentum through the holiday season. I have my doubts.

i dont know if it qualifies yet, but i cant believe more people arent buying and playing demon souls. Any RPG fan would love this game. It not open world like fallout or oblivion, but it is far more in depth then either of those games in terms of RPG aspects. The graphics and gameplay are incredible.

by far its game of the year for me and seems to be the best kept secret in the gaming world.

Buzz is right, it would be on October results.

Regardless, I don't care if it doesn't sell a ton. I don't want stupid fucking noob kids playing this game anyways. The only people that are interested in this title are people who actually have a keen interest in the genre, which usually means they are somewhat mature and older...

I can't stand summoning someone into my game for them to be fuckin retarded about it. Or vice versa, going into someone's game to help them, only for them to get raped at the boss for being retarded and I have to help someone else out to return to life.

apparently its selling decently cause a lot of stores are running out of copies and Atlus is busy printing more to meet the demand... i plan on checking it out, maybe when i get tired of uncharted.

Having a hard time finding a copy of Demon's Souls, now that the game has shipped to retail and positive word of mouth is helping the innovative PS3 game find an audience? Don't worry, says Atlus. They're working on it.

The Atlus elves are said to be slaving away in the Blu-ray disc workshop, issuing more Demon's Souls to good little video game retailers as of this week. What won't be coming this week (or ever!) is the limited Deluxe Edition of the game and its accompanying strategy guide, a pre-order exclusive that looks like it may remain that way. Atlus says it's out of print, never to return from the printing Nexus.

sucks for people who didn't get the guide. IMO you will be lost without it....unless you plan on doin web research to understand certain things.

see this thread for an example.

It's been said before but still: how is there anyone left without a DS that still want to buy one? It's crazy.

That's exactly why. If the game is that good maybe I will actually keep my copy that I got at BB yesterday.

I think it's just because of the DSi. Nintendo nerds are fucking crazy. Everytime a new iteration of the Gameboy/DS comes out, whether it's just a new color or what, they need it. It's like heroin to them. Remember way back when with the original Gameboy? That thing was a turd compared to the Sega Gamegear but it sole through the roof. Then they released 'new' version that simply had colored outsides but no changes to the system at all. I think those even sold more than the original. Craziness. I'm perfectly happy with my DS and have zero intentions of buying a DSi.
