Who's getting Forza 3?

I worried about that.
Still haven't bought the game and now wondering if I should.

the problem with forza 3 is similar to what i read about nhl 10. The previous version was so great that they could not really improve on the greatness..
f3 is a great game, but its the same great game as F2

You put in disc 1 and then it asks if you want to install disc 2.

I actually already installed both but haven't played it yet. Figured I'd rather get the install portion done while watching NCAA Football as opposed to installing when I want to be playing.

I feel like somethings were taken away from this game, when you hit the grass or dirt this year, there's no vision of dust coming up from the ground like in 2. Also, some of the damage just "pops up." like if you get hit from behind, your rear lights just "disappear" instead of seeing them break away like in 2.

That's pretty lame.

I guess they had to give up some things to get the "buttery smooth 60 frames per second."

it does handle better than expected but i would be afraid to beef up the horsepower without properly adding suspension part as well.

do you guys have any knowledge on how to tune your cars setups? i used to be good at this on GT games, but forza is a little more complex and i dont know what to adjust and how much to adjust

it is very complicated. Basically each car, at each different class for each track can be tuned differently....there is not one universal tune.

Also the first part of tuning is picking the right parts for the proper class.

For example.... if you going try and build a B Class car for a track with alot of turns. It would not make sense to buy all engine components, as you will have a monster of an engine but you car will be all over the place.

So not only is picking the proper parts to install part of tuning there is also tweaking of the tire pressures, transmission gears ect.

thanks....i play around with the tire pressure and gears depending on the layout of the track. And when i get wings on cars o mess with downforce. I agree, very complicated in this game. I never bothered to figure it out in F2 which was a mistake.

idk why, but this game seems like alot more fun then F2 was. its pretty addicting right now and i am debating buying it to compliment MW2
