u probably did some kind of "man up" pre snap audible and it shifted your cb to cover someone in the backfield.

Sometimes I play people and they do something pre-snap and their cb leaves the wr all alone.

It's a slant route to the side..You were just in the wrong coverage..It's incredibly easy to stop with good stick and right coverage.
