Madden Ultimate Team First Look.

Like trading cards? Like fantasy football? Then you'll want to hear all about this new update for Madden 10.

I'd like to take complete credit for Madden Ultimate Team, but I know better than that. Ever since the From the Bleachers days--heck, ever since EA Sports released its collectible card feature back in UEFA Champions League 2006-2007--I've been clamoring for just such a card feature to make its way to other EA Sports games, and I've hardly been alone in that regard. Soon, those requests will be answered with Madden Ultimate Team, an upcoming feature update to Madden NFL 10 that mixes trading card collecting with fantasy football. And best of all? It's free.

I like the mode but i wish madden would stop with so much modes and just focus completely on gameplay for one year and make that as good as possible because obviously that is the most important part of Madden.

For Madden '11 i wish they would focus on gameplay and make that as good as it can possibly be. Then making online franchise more complete with contracts and maybe like being able to edit players. Then maybe a little something here and there for franchise mode then. After gameplay gets an A+ grade they should focus on other things but not before then unless it's a small and easy addition.

You can actually do that already with your created team or exported team (I think). It just has to be unranked. Then when you get to the team select menu press triangle (on PS3) and load your team.

Recently there has been building discussion regarding the release of Madden Ultimate Team due out sometime in January. The free download will add a brand new game mode to Madden 10. TeamXbox, IGN, and Operation Sports have detailed previews of the mode. This has been a very popular addition to FIFA the past two years and as such the idea behind it has been expanded to Madden.
