A Potentials in Madden

I just got madden and am still getting an idea of how this potential thing works.

Are these from a certain particular draft class? Anyone know what attributes make a player have a potenital of A, or how I could go into NCAA and change a player so he can come into a draft class with an A potential?

1. I believe the list Champ posted just lists the A potential guys from every single draft class (there's 30 total). The link I posted separates them by draft class, and each draft class is identified by the best QB in that class.

2. As far as how potential is determined...I have no idea, I would think it's just random when importing NCAA draft classes.

There is a rather easy way of determining potentials in Madden though.

 

Scout your players. Typically, the guys at the top of every position will have A or B potentials. When it comes to draft day, you'll find those guys have been scattered out in the rounds...so a guy might have been at the top of the list of DTs during the scouting, but is now a 6th-7th round projected pick. Chances are, he has high potential.
