Yea the Sev similarities are there, but its almost every military game nowadays has a protagonist with a faux-hawk.

There were definitely some interesting quotes. I didn't get the Nathan Hale quote, but are you sure it was from resistance because there was an actual Nathan Hale in the American Revolution. Anyway, there was one from Donald Rumsfeld that cracked me up since he's so villified these days.

The opening scene of Gulag with Soap sitting next to you on the chopper was eerily similar to the opening of Killzone 2.

I was wondering about that. I'm no history buff so I wasn't sure if there was another Nathan Hale. There is a brief thread about it on Gamefaqs but that doesn't mean shit.

Now if there was a quote my Master Chief or Dom from Gears in the 360 version then I would know my answer.

But the ending was real awesome. Also, the DC level was my favorite in this game. The graphics were amazing....it was mind blowing to see Washington DC, a place i have been too numerous times, get torn up.

Oh yeah. The DC level was so awesome. Seeing the capitol in flames was just crazy.

Also the score in the game was amazing the music going on while you were in Washington was amazing, hands down some of the best ive heard in a game..

I loved the music also. The eerie music in the background during the airport level was so fitting.

Makarov and Shepherds connection I'm still unsure of. I'm sure that Shepherd leaked to Makarov about Allen being undercover.

Don't understand why Price was in a Russian Gulag.

I think Shepherd killed Ghost and Roach because he felt like he couldn't control them anymore since Price took over.

I never understood that with CoD4 or this game. It basically all revolves around the U.S. military and yet you have all these Brits like Soap and Price. But I guess they are part of the super secret Squad 141 or whatever.

Cod4 was actually more focused on the SAS. After Act 1 in COD4 thats all you play as. I think they do it because American forces are in a lot of other games so they wanted to bring another elite fighting force, the SAS, to light.

This game was pretty evenly split though between the Rangers and Task Force 141 which eventually became the super squad of Roach, Ghost, Soap and Price.

Another thing I liked was playing the final missions as Soap alongside Price, I was really hoping that would happen.

My best guess is that there had to be some sort of deal made after COD4, The Brits give up Price for something in return that we don't know of yet.
