EA makes too much money on madden to let 2K back into the game. They'll renew their contract and 2K sports will have to continue making games like APF 2K8

You are going t have to wait a couple more years because I dont see ea getting rid of the football license and I dont see 2k getting rid of the baseball license.

You also have to think that when/if ESPN 2k and MVp get back into the game it may take a few years for them to get back into the game since most of the production staff will be gone.
