New info on Patch#2 and Madden Community Interaction.

I use to get NCAA and Madden every year at release.......I haven't bought Madden since it went on to the PS3 and haven't bought NCAA in 2 years.

The games are just bad. And Ian can bitch all he wants about getting bad feedback but I'm sorry if you put yourself out there as the voice of EA on a board no matter how many nazi mods OS has some assholes will get through. Ian and EA needs to toughen up, look past the horrible posts and really pay attention to the people who put in the time and effort to give them constructive feedback whether it be by video, picture or typed out response. There's plenty of great feedback out there but it seems like Ian and EA are just using the assholes as an excuse to not actually man up and answer the legit, well thought out, well founded, and constructive complaints.

If I was a developer, I wouldn't spend more than 2 seconds skimming over the thousands of angry/hateful/threatening posts that people write. I certainly wouldn't be whining and crying about how random anonymous people on the internet are telling me how much I suck.

Last thing I would do is go to another major video game forum and start a thread titled, "Why I left MaddenMania..." He is childish, immature, and too sensitive to be interacting with the community. He spends more time complaining about being ridiculed and responding to idiots who just flame him then he does to respond to people exposing serious gameplay flaws.

What's even funnier about that whole "Why I left Maddenmania" deal is that it was a guy who didn't even post at MM making the post. I think he had two comments on an article on MM and wasn't even a poster in the forum itself. What would EA know about MM anyways? They never went in there to look at ideas. If they had been going in there to look at ideas then Madden would have been fixed about 3-4 years ago.

It amazes me that year after year on the next gen that Madden and NCAA can be so awful. It speak of an incompetence that I can't even fathom. Year after year the same problems and nothing ever gets fixed. How many more years will Franchise AI be busted in draft, free agency, sim stats etc? It's going on what 5-6 years now?

EA has completely sold out and bent over for the cheap cheezing online community of 12 year old kids and 24 year olds who think being good enough to find cheap plays to get themselves on a bus and on TV is something to be proud of. Meanwhile guys who really enjoy the game and are true football gaming fans looking for a real football experience are left out in the cold year after year because EA is more concerned about hosting online community days and tournaments and making some extra coin on a shitty product.

I mean when was the last time NCAA was really a great game? 2004? Madden? Maybe 2002? Who knows really. I LOL at Ian and the ads EA runs for Madden on TV. "Best Madden in 5 years"...."Highest rated Madden in 5 years"....well that's not really tough to do since all the others have been hot garbage over that time period. This Madden is basically the fastest retard.

Yeah I played Madden 09 almost year round, I can't play Madden 10 any more.

It's much of the same, but no way is it hands down better like some of you are acting like.

It's a pretty shitty game all around, really. I'd love for one of you to explain exactly why 10 is so much better than 09, maybe I'm missing something, but I know that somebody at EA should be fired every time a linebacker tackles my QB before he is able to hand the ball off to the running back in the backfield.

Seems like the consensus about NCAA though is their online dynasty mode is damn good...there isn't much you can't do and you can solve disconnects and everything on NCAA...many people disagree upon the gameplay but if you give me the choice, i'm playing NCAA over madden.

Madden meanwhile is a mess...they fucking ruin the experience this year by forcing the community onto slow mode which just puts offense at an extreme advantage online...I don't think you can have games around 10-7...no...games are 45-35 or some garbage like that.

And to make it worse, they throw out a half assed online franchise mode, which if you compare it to the online dynasty mode that NCAA put out it's first year, it really makes Madden look even worse.

I was a tad outspoken about my indifference and outright disappointment for Madden 10. I get the impression they wanted us eight guys who went to their event to come out as cheerleaders. The game didn't give me many reasons to want to dig the pom poms out of my closet.

But to keep on topic, I played Madden 10 just as much as 09, 08,07 and 06........ about 2 weeks each.

This is the 5th Madden on Next Gen and its almost as good as Madden 05 on PC.
