There is another article in a game mag that talks about a poll that another company did in Europe that showed a 62% failure rate for the 360. Unreal.

I was just trying to hook up with my cousin to play some more Borderlands. He got the RROD. Awesome.

My cousin just texted me and said when he dropped his package off at UPS the clerk said "360, huh?" Fucking joke.

Assuming this is the article you are talking about, I belonged to the 19% who had a 360 break 3 or more times. What a turd that thing was.

3 times! Jesus. I'm still on my second *knock on wood*

I don't know why I go into these threads. They make me panic about every little thing my shitty 360 does. Damn, I can't remember the last product that I owned that I had such a love/hate relationship with.

Like I said in that other thread, I've only paid for each console once. My wife's was actually bought second hand from someone over at MM. I have never and will never BUY a replacement. That's just how many times it has been repaired/replaced by M$.

Anyone know if I have to pay to get the Xbox fixed because of this e74 error? If I do, goodbye Xbox.

You may have to. I remember several articles coming out a while ago stating that the E74 error was just a newer implementation by MS to disguise the RROD, so that they would have to pay for the repairs.

But I thought I also remember hearing that the 3-year warranty expanded to cover E74 as well because so many people complained.

                                It's covered for three years...

I love how they say that a "majority of their customers have enjoyable experiences" and a "small percentage of customers experience problems". LMFAO!:hahaha:
