Old PC Games

I just got System Shock 2 up and running on my laptop and I'm pretty pumped to play it, also hoping to get Deus Ex working soon.

Anyone have some suggestions for some 7+ year old games that my POS can run?

You may be able to run fallout tactics. I still play that from time to time on my computer.

Max Payne series, Rainbow 6 games, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Half Life 1.

Possibly GTA 3 but GTA 2 is always hilarious from time to time.

Probably fallouts 1 and 2.

You can run any of Lucasarts Graphic Adventures, if you're a fan of the genre.

Baldur's Gate 1, 2 and Throne of Baal are all incredible. Also, if you patch it, Arcanum is very good too. Planescape Torment is 3rd on my favorite PC game list behind Fallout 1 and 2.

SWAT 3.........easily my favorite game of all time. Its the only real Swat game (besides the fourth one) and you do all the tactics like killing people that wont give up, booking people, breaking into houses, controlling your squad, etc. If you havnt heard of it look into it its great.

I tend to not point to starcraft or D2 anymore.

They are still huge wastes of time these days. God dam I threw away a lot of time in D2.
