i think when it comes to old classic games psn has better games. final fantasy 7 + resident evil 1/2 > all. i havent downloaded many original games from either xbl or psn but shadow complex has been by far my favorite

Ok, if you want to get back on this we can. Pirating a $60 disc game is different than 'sharing' a game on PSN. The only reason I was doing that was because the chiey Sony guy (Tretton) was promoting it. I hadn't heard anything since saying it was unscrupulous or against Sony's agreement terms. But then you made a good point and I started doing research. I still haven't seen anything definitive either way but you better believe I'll never share again.

But to differentiate between sharing and stealing. With any downloadable game you are basically renting it. You never actually own it, you just own the right to play it. By me 'sharing' a game it's no different than borrowing a game from a buddy. You can't borrow a downloaded game. And, just in case you're wondering, I've only shared game with three people and they are all close friends, no random dudes on the internet.

Whereas downloading a torrent file from the internet and burning it to a disc is nowhere near the same thing.

As far as Home? I've said it before it's a huge flop. I have visited it a few times and the few times I have it's been cool but nowhere near enough people use it and it's really just a time waster. Those no real reason to interact with it.

I alos love how you say "Don't even start with Well Xbox charges and Sony is FREE" bullshit. Guess what, that is the single and ONLY reason I think all the ads on Live are bullshit. My only argument about it was that Silver members should be subjected to all that shit. Yes, PSN does have plenty of ads but it is free. How else can they keep it up with out ad dollars? Not only does M$ charge you but they are also receiving probably millions from ads.

And this whole 'debate' started because you made what many could easily describe as a pretentious 'end all, be all' statement of "Not surprising really, PSN games generally suck compared to XBLA." LOL. You're playing the wrong games then.

No doubt in my mind that Shadow Complex was downloadable GotY. And I even said that the Summer of Arcade was awesome. But besides that, and as a whole, PSN's offering have been more solid, creative and just damn good.

I can't even remember the last time there has been a good XBLA game since the summer.

This is such a load of shit lol. Now you are just "sharing" the game by not paying for the right to play it? The only way developers get paid for their work is people paying for it. You can play the semantics role if you want, but no matter if you own the game or are just paying for the right to play, YOU DIDNT PAY FOR THE RIGHT TO PLAY THE GAME yet you are playing it. That is stealing and by your own definition, you are no better than a smackhead robbing an old lady so they can afford the next hit.

There is a HUGE difference between logging in on someones account to download a game without paying for it and borrowing a game. When you buy a game at a store, you are paying for that ONE disc. If you decide to lend that game to someone, it doesnt matter because there is still only ONE person with the disc at a time. ONE game was paid for, and ONE game is being played. Thats quite a bit different than paying once, then multiplying the people benefiting from the purchase by 5.

A little common sense would say that even when Tritton said you could share the games (before the system was even out) he cant speak for other developers. If he wants to tell you to steal first party Sony games, thats within his right. But there is no way in hell that 3rd party PSN game developers will be ok with you just stealing the right to play their game without paying for it.

Ill say the same thing I said before, it doesnt matter if its a $60 game or a $15 game, stealing is stealing.

Call it pretentious if you want, but I stand by my comment. I DO believe that XBLA games are better than PSN games, that would be why I have 50+ XBLA games and less than 10 full version PSN games.
