Am I the only one who is massively dissapointed by this fuckin trailer and game coming out? It looks fuckin stupid. I read the book Halo Reach a shit long time ago and i thought it was gonna be like that, boy was I fuckin wrong. It is the most piece of shit trailer ever. I mean it looks amazing but the storyline looks fuckin stupid. Ill just ruin the ending since u arent playing the chief. Everyone Dies. No Spartan survived Reach except Master Chief.

Yeah but there assumed Dead because the haven't and weren't mentioned as surviving the jump through the portal.

I had a crazy theory that the planet in Reach isn't really Reach but Onyx, because Cortana would'nt have said they were in an unknown location but that they were near Reach.
I was wrong.

Halo: Reach is a prequel game to the regular Halo Series. The planet at the end of Halo 3 could very likely by Onyx, so your theory is still relevant and a very good one at that.

How would this be about the Book? Doesn't "Reach" start off 20 years before the Spartan Project? So we would be playing a young Spartan 117 :pedobear:

Ne ways John117 was a spartan thus the spartan program already started.

Halo 1 starts immediately after Master Chief and the Pillar of Autumn have escaped Reach. The book Halo Reach spans through John117's life from his abduction by ONI at a very young age to his action starting at age 14 when his friend Sam died all the way to Halo 1 where he is roughly 25 to 30 years old.

The Halo: ODST sales team is on the phone and they tend to disagree with you.

Personally I think the trailer looked no different. The graphics and everything looked the same. The rumor was that this was going to be a completely different game but that doesn't appear to be the case. Although they didn't show any game play so who knows?

Well I already know the multiplayer is gonna be the tits so I am not too worried about the shortcomings of the story.

Its a fuckin awsome book. The only other Halo Book that comes anywhere close to as good is Halo: Contact Harvest which is the life of Master Sergeant Avery Johnson and how he first came in contact with the aliens.

Also to answer Twigg. I think they meant different as in the Storyline. Halo 1,2,3 and ODST were all set in the same years and all in the same areas basically. Halo: Reach will basically be brand new experience where as your not the only Spartan left anymore. Your not even the Master Chief, your just another Spartan in the Spartan Program trying to save Reach.

Well Brutes have always been apart of Halo they werent introduced though until halo 2 because Bungie thought it'd be cool to make new enemies. So yes you will fight both Elites and Brutes. Good news? No flood WOOT.
