In Killzone 2, online games don't "end" as you might expect. Multiple matches can take place within the span of a single game without any reloading or break in the flow of action. Once you complete a specific match objective that would normally win the game—say killing the other team—the objective rolls over into a new one and the winning team is awarded a match point. It's completely organic. This lets players pick any number of matches for a single game before moving to the next map.
The clan system also proved to be incredibly interesting. The main stand-out feature is clan valor. This clan currency is used instead of win rankings. Each clan starts with 1,000 valor and can use it to place bets during clan matches; the more valor you have, the better your clan is. Tournaments can have a small entry fee and a huge reward, and if a clan reaches 0 valor, lesser tournaments are the only way to win back valor. Better still, the clan features of the website allow players to create clan challenges with valor online at any time.
It looks like the FOOT clan will be making its way to Killzone 2. If you played with us on RS, RSV2, COD4, CODW@W then join the Foot Clan in Killzone 2. This game will have real clans with invites, rankings,etc.

Hell yeah I'm getting this. I loved the first one and almost shat myself when I found out a new one was coming out. I'm down with joining your clan too. What does FOOT stand for?

everyone always has these super macho sounding clans like Bad ass Killers or some shit, me and a couple friends said we're gonna be the FOOT clan like from the Ninja turtles, guys will start singing TMNT theme song to us in lobbies and stuff good times. We were in a clan on RSV originally called S*F superfriends but the guy who started it began to act like a dick to everyone so i started Foot Clan with the guys i liked to play with from S*F and some guys i knew.Last edited by Herm; 01-21-2009, 10:11 PM.Comment

Im not much of a SOCOM guy but i know you play it, it has a real clan system right? Im hype for this game to have an actual clan system unlike COD where anyone can just type in anything for their tag.Comment

Game looks great, only problem is I can't stand using the PS3 controller for shooters.
But shit am I the only one that thinks this game looks like a result of Gears and Call of Duty 4 combined?Comment

In Socom my buddy and I started a clan and its called Rocky>God, and we play rocky all the time. Also you have to be a disney movie fan because we always have debates on disney movies and charactors. No joke we will get 30 yr old men aruging over the mics about it, giving there 2 cents, pretty entertaining.Comment
