I know i had said i would be running a clan, but one of you guys run with it and start one if you want. I didnt particularly like the pace of the demo, is there some setting i could change to make it faster paced? the aiming and movement seemed really slow to me.

I guess i'll rent it for sure to see if i dig the online play before dismissing it.

I fired up Killzone 1 today in anticipation for this game. That game is still damn good.

its not fast and twitchy like most other fps's, the developers said they wanted it that way. i've played the demo so many times im used to it

It seems a lot of people don't like the 'speed' of the game. At least I guess that's what you would call it. I think it's amazing. I've always thought that most FPS's are way too wast and twitchy. Killzone 2 is much more realistic IMO. Take it from someone that actually has a gun on his hip everyday and fires it at the range at least twice a year. It's just one of the many reasosn I can'ts stand playing games on a PC, especially FPS's. I think one of the worst examples is the Half Life port for PS2. That sensitivity was so fast I couldn't even play it. No matter how much I turned it down. Heck, even the sensitivity in the first Killzone is too quick. It's already down pretty far by default but I still turned it down to almost zero.

... I'm sure you've done cqb training like me, and you're using your support hand to aim and move the rifle, which you are trying to move steady and smooth. Like we always preach, slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

I talked about this when people were bitchin about this at MM. This is way more realistic, I am looking forward to a FPS that step away from run and gun a little.

The game is slower paced by design, according to the developers. I don't have a problem with it. It will just take some adjustment coming from the COD games.

Who's down for an all-nighter on Friday? Let's do it...or at least some hardcore MP playtime.

I played through the demo again with the x and y axis sensitivity up and ill just stick to the original settings. I loved the first Rainbow Six Vegas and this reminds me of that with the slower pace and the cover, it just takes major getting used to after playing pretty much 1.5 years of COD as my only shooter.

I'm in some old ww2 barracks, when I move into my new room in a few weeks I'll get the net installed. Until then I'm going to continue discovering how great the ps3 is. Gt5 is the best looking game ever. Then again I haven't played mgs4 LOL.
