The one thing(maybe the only thing lol) I really liked about the original, was its plot and characters. Kane and Lynch had so much potential. Psychopathic badasses. Lets hope they get it right this time.

That's kind of the point.

The only thing that kind of sucks is that even if you accidentally shoot a teammate, like if he walks into your line of fire, you get labeled as a traitor. Obviously there isn't really a way around that. But does your Traitor status disappear after a while? Like if I were to say, "My bad, you stepped in front of me. It wasn't intentional." Could my teammates give me a second shot?

Nope. Once you're labeled a traitor you're stuck with it for the whole round.
