Its cool you can download the replay of peoples hotlaps on the leaderboards and it shows their exact setup down to the controller type and what country they are from

And I've been to IMS probably 30+ times in my life...and they modeled that track damn near to the T, even how the track has grooves cut into it like irl

Got it ran the track 3 or 4 times. 1:44:something was my best. I will keep running it. BTW the stock setup of the Z is a pain in the ass.

Is this demo supposed to have damage? I didn't see any, after I ran headfirst into the barriers on turn 1, while going 140 mph ;)

Am I correct to assume that you are required to use the face buttons for gas and brake and not the triggers?

You can map the controls however you want from the main menu.

Triggers are essential....problem I have is that this is an AWD Nissan 370Z and it drives like a RWD car.........why?

I take all the assists off and they car is like driving on oil. I really hate the PS2/3 controller for driving games.......as you can see all the leaders use the wheel......I wonder why?!?!?

Where are you getting that it is AWD? There is no such thing iirc...

And they use a wheel because the game is built for it, and the G25/27's are badass, wish I had one

Pro tips: Switch the gas brake to R2/L2, upshift to triangle, downshift to x

Do not brake while turning, do your braking before you hit the apex

The race line is there for a reason, its a great tool to follow while trying to master these turns. Also, MT is a lot better, you can run a lot of these turns in 3rd gear. I like to brake a little before it says to, and turn a little before it says to...it actually makes me follow the line better.

I can turn 1:42's consistently in an automatic, and almost break 1:40 in manual.


edit: the more I play the demo, the more I like it. I was the same at first thinking the car was on an ice rink, but now I have a lot better control with a little practice. I love the feeling of being right on that thin line between making it through the turn and completely losing it.
