PlayStation 3 confirmed to support 3D Blu-ray discs

Too bad no one has 3D compatible TVs.

I actually heard on the Giant Bomb podcast that there was going to be a future firmware update that would allow EVERY PS3 game to be viewable in 3D with either 3D glasses or of course a 3D tv.

I want a 3D TV.... how come it was the rage back in the 50's and they're just now (in the near future) making it capable to make 3D tvs...

fuck technology. Although i think it will be a gimmick and not a standard.

You guys would be surprised how many TVs are easily capable of 3D.

We have a display at my store, the big thing that's involved is 120Hz. it's like a $250 20" computer monitor. The 3D runs through the nvidia 3Dvision program and it's good to go.

I know my buddy picked up a Samsung plasma a few months ago and that also had 3D support.
